Our Blind Resident
Freckles is a sweet boy missing one eye, and blind in the other.
He is the companion horse for Gracie, as well as a therapy horse. He is 31 years old! His birthday is in February.
Due to his ERU disease which causes blindness in Appaloosa horses. Freckles relies on Gracie and is very attached to her. He loves carrots, apples and especially pumpkins.

Our sweet playful lamb
(who thinks he is a lap dog)
Rejected by his mother at birth, Ben came to us January 6th, 2023. He was so young he had to be bottle fed. He lived in our house for the first 5 weeks with our dogs and adopted the dogs as his sisters. Ben was moved out to the barn when we got Bert and Ernie 2 of our pot-bellied pigs. Where he now has made many new friends!
Ben loves graham crackers, honey wheat pretzels, vanilla wafer cookies and carrots.
His sweet personality makes him everyone's favorite when visiting. Ben can be shy and does not like to have his picture taken.

12 year old potbelly pig who came from PA when she was 6 yrs old. She needed a home immediately because her owner was moving and they couldn't house her anymore. Now she lives out her days lounging in the sun and eating snacks

Jay/Fred - These brothers needed a home immediately when they were 1 year old. They are male Alpine Dairy goats that are often used for their meat or even sacrificial rituals. Luckily, a girl was able to save them and bring them to us where we gave them a loving and safe home.
They enjoy the pastures with Tuffy, our retired barrel racer horse. They love graham crackers and vanilla wafer cookies.

His best friend is Ernie
A 4 year old potbelly pig. He and his brother Ernie, lived at Johnson Park Zoo in New Brunswick until a hurricane flooded the area. Bert and Ernie were saved before drowning and were then moved to a closed zoo in Monroe, NJ. They waited for a very long time needing a home badly. We heard about them and had to take them home to our sanctuary. They had a lot of trauma when they got to us and since working with them to heal, they are now always excited when visitors come to see them.

Blue was a bottle baby, meaning he was bottle-fed by people, his mother wasn't present. Blue is a potbelly pig, 5 years old. He needed a home immediately due to city zoning not allowing him to live with his family. He comes from a military family who still visits him often. He is one on the biggest pigs on our farm and one of the most gentle and shy. He loves to come say hi to visitors and lounge in his big plastic kids play house full of his favorite blankets.
